Funding Support Volunteer
Purpose of the role
To support with researching and applying for grants and funding that Rebuilding Lives UK are eligible for. To contribute to fundraising strategies and share and implement fundraising ideas.
What you will be doing
We are looking for funding support volunteers to join our team. You will use your skills to:
- Research grants and funding that we may be eligible for
- Prepare information about grants, trusts and foundations, including requirements for applications and deadlines for the management team
- Support with writing content for grant applications
- Support with the grant application process
- Contribute to a fundraising strategy
- Share ideas for fundraising
Help to implement fundraising ideas
Skills, experience and qualities needed
The following skills and experience would be useful for this role:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in any aspect of fundraising, grant applications or writing
- The ability to deal with information in a confidential manner and respond with sensitivity
- Proficiency in using email, Microsoft Office
- Commitment to the values of Rebuilding Lives UK
- Able to work collaboratively in a team
